Also includes Online Dictionary, Thesaurus, Word of The Day, I think this could be great for creative ‘bell ringer’ activities etc. Give this one a shot and see what you think! -mr. B

www.spellingcity.com

Spellingcity.com is a free spelling tool that makes teaching spelling exciting. With online spelling games, spelling reviews, and spelling quizzes, your students will learn those weekly spelling words with unprecedented enthusiasm.

How do teachers use SpellingCity.com? Many different ways. Some teachers use SpellingCity in front of the class using projection screens; some print worksheets to practice spelling, vocabulary, and handwriting; some have the students play the online games for practice; and others give practice and final tests using the online tools.

SpellingCity now provides student record-keeping on their tests. This was the most requested feature by teachers and parents.
